Poppy and Rob are those kind of you people you meet and fall in love with instantly. They are kind and fun and full of energy. It was a true honour to photograph their wedding at Pennard House. The day brought together some unique personalities. It had a laid back but very stylish vibe. I will let the images speak for themselves! Poppy and Robs wedding day

With an 8 hours time difference between us, I first met Poppy on a videocall during the pandemic. She was sitting in the sun and she told me that she loved my work and that I was their first choice when it comes to their wedding photography. Those are the words EVERY wedding photographer wants to hear. Fast forward to slightly calmer times. The world was starting to get back to a bit of normality and I finally had the chance to meet both Poppy and Rob for their pre wedding shoot. They arrived riding their bikes and we spent a few hours walking and chatting and chasing the sunset. Their photos turned out so beautiful and they were a joy to be around. I knew their wedding day was going to be extraordinary. And it was nothing less than just that!

I know it’s easier said than done, but stressing about the weather on your wedding day will do no good to anyone. I always tell my couples to try and accept the fact that we cannot control the rain or the wind or the cold. Have a plan, then have a plan B and perhaps a plan C and just have fun and go with the flow! Poppy and Rob stayed super positive and we were going to brave the elements and have an outdoor ceremony until very last minute when that just didn’t seem doable. Of course the sun came out right after they tied the knot which meant that they could enjoy the beautiful outdoor space at Pennard House.

The whole day was so chilled and calm. The decor was stunning, the food was wonderful ( all veggie! yum!) and later in the evening the party kicked off.

Last but not least, the biggest should out to the Pennard House and their wonderful team. They made me feel so welcome and they made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible without putting too much pressure on the guests or the bride and groom. They gently co-ordinated every aspect of the day making it completely stress free!
