The day began with a sense of excitement and anticipation. The stunning Lochgreen House, with its sweeping views of the Scottish countryside, provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding day that was both elegant and relaxed. Laura, glowing in the morning light, was ready to marry her best friend. What made her even more radiant was her choice of a hand-made wedding dress. Crafted with love and attention to detail, the gown was a true work of art. Every stitch seemed to tell a story, and Laura looked absolutely breathtaking as she stepped into it. It was clear from the moment I saw her that her dress was as unique and beautiful as she was.

As the ceremony began, the atmosphere at Lochgreen House was charged with emotion. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Laura and Ross exchanged vows in a heartfelt moment that was both intimate and moving. You could feel the love between them in the air, and I was lucky enough to capture those fleeting, magical moments that make weddings so special.

After the ceremony, we moved to the grounds of Lochgreen House for some beautiful portraits. The estate, with its gorgeous gardens and rolling hills, was the perfect setting for capturing the newlyweds.

A huge highlight

What truly made this Lochgreen wedding unforgettable was the ceilidh. If you’ve ever been to a ceilidh, you know that it’s more than just a dance – it’s a celebration. The energy in the room was electric as guests laughed, spun, and danced together. There’s something so special about seeing a group of people come together, laughing and dancing with abandon, and it was a privilege to capture the joy of the evening. The ceilidh was the perfect way to end a perfect day, with everyone embracing the spirit of celebration in true Scottish style.

Their wedding was a true reflection of their personalities – personal, joyful, and filled with love. It was a day to remember, and I’m so thankful I was there to document it.
