FAQ:

What should we wear to our session ?

When it comes to your outfits, there are a couple of things to consider first : where is the shoot taking place? and what is your style? It is so important to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and most importantly beautiful. There is absolutely no need to rush out and buy matching outfits for the whole family! In fact, I beg you not to do that. Wear colours that go together, fabrics that complement each other and always remember that less is more! If the shoot is in your home, think clothing that would fit in. You don’t want to look like your going to a ball, but you might need to think beyond your pyjamas. Always remember, if you ever get stuck, give a shout and I am here to help!

How do we choose the best location for our session?

I believe that the location is a very important element of a session, especially if it is a motherhood, family or engagement shoot. The space often sets the tone. It needs to inspire you and make you feel comfortable. If the session is going to take place in your home, you must remember that you don’t need to own a mansion and you don’t need to hire a team of cleaners to set the place up. All I ask for is a little de-cluttering of a couple of your favourite areas. I often tend to move things around to make sure that we get the best possible shot, so as long as you trust me, all you have to do is sit back and relax. When it comes to choosing an outdoor location, privacy is very important. Nobody wants any spectators while being photographed that’s for sure. If you have kids, we want somewhere they can run around and have some fun, because ultimately that is what I am after. I want to capture them when they are the happiest.
