I am so excited to share this incredibly fun Cheltenham marquee wedding with you! It was a day I remember with a big smile on my face. I first met Toby, Blythe and Disco last summer. Their pre wedding shoot has to be one of my all time favourites – please bring your four legged friend along if you have one! We spoke about their families , their work, their hobbies and of course the plans for the big day.
Fast forward to a sunny September day. I joined Blythe for her prep at the Feathers Hotel in Ledbury, while my assistant for the day, Ellie, spent the morning with Toby and his army of ushers.
A little side note : if you and your partner are getting ready in two different locations, having a second photographer is so important! It’s a part of the day filled with so much emotion and I promise you will love looking back to see what your other half was getting up to.
There is something really special about church ceremonies. I personally love them as much as I love a non traditional approach to saying “I DO”. Disco had the honour of walking down the isle first. She was followed by the bridesmaids and then of course by Blythe and her father. That moment was filled with so much emotion! It gets me every time. Nearly impossible to hold back my tears.
Blythe and Tobys Cheltenham marquee wedding came together with a lot of hard work. Many suppliers involved were their family and friends. They were so blessed to have many hands on deck. Every single detail has been thought about and the day was absolutely perfect!
A huge perk of having two photographers at your wedding is that all the fun moments are captured. There are two pairs of eyes always on the lookout for some action.
Something I have been trying to do this season is split the group shots. I love to have all the more formal ones done after the ceremony and then have some fun with the bridal party later in the day. Everyone is so much more relaxed after a few drinks .
Oh the good old dancefloor! It’s the most fun part of the wedding and everyone at Blythe and Tobys wedding knew how to party!
If you enjoyed looking through these and would like to see more of my work, you can do it HERE.
