It’s easy to fall in love with a Cotswold micro wedding for obvious reasons. But let me tell you, falling in love with this wonderful bride and groom was even easier. From the minute they asked me to be their wedding photographer I developed a soft spot for them. Their wedding day was very special. It was calm, relaxed and full of emotions. Chris and Cassie said I do in their local church. They got ready in their beautiful home where they also enjoyed a BBQ after walking home from their ceremony. I honestly don’t know what more could you ask for.
The good thing about having only 3 guests at your wedding is that there is no chaos. I have never seen a bridal prep more chilled and relaxed that Cassies! She has such an elegant style and a warm personality that matched the day so well. Her dress was stunning, but I must give a special shout out to her SHOES. And not any shoes! If you are a Sex and City fan like myself, you will understand why I got so excited.
Chris was of course getting ready in the same house so my job was very easy! Just pop over to a different room, and there’s the groom! Once he was ready, they headed over to their local church in style! In a beautiful vintage convertible!
The ceremony was beautiful! It was peaceful and very relaxed just as I expected. Cassie and Chris insisted on getting married in their local church and they did so together with their guests.
The rest of the day was in line with the celebrations. Chilled and full of joy. We walked home after the ceremony and took this opportunity to take a few portraits of the newlyweds. They were greeted with champagne and they had a BBQ in their exquisite garden. Micro weddings are my absolute favourite! They are so intimate and filled with emotions! Have a look at this Bristol micro wedding that had a very different vibe, but it was equally wonderful!
