Rochelle has asked me to shoot her and Adams wedding before she even had a date set or a venue chosen! This is definitely a little unusual in the wedding photography world, but nevertheless I was honoured and very excited to see which way her plans will go. After lots of conversations, back and forth messages, she told me I am to be their Adam and Eve Pub Wedding Photographer.
I met Adam for the first time on the morning of his wedding in front of Islington Town Hall. He was so nervous, I could tell straight away how much this day meant to him. It was the perfect day for a wedding. Warm and dry without too much blinding sunshine. Roschelle was patiently waiting around the corner, as all the guests made their way inside. I captured a first look with her father and then it was go time!
Waiting for the bride is one of the BEST moments of a wedding day! My heart (and everyone else’s actually!) beats so fast! Adam was holding it together, walking up and down, chatting to his family and friends, and then the moment arrived. The big doors opened and his son was standing there ready to lead the way up the isle. That was a moment I will never forget. There were tears of joy and pride. As a parent, I can understand what he felt. It was so powerful and beautiful.
The hallways of Islington Town Hall are so beautiful. They are an excellent photo opportunity. We stopped here for a little bit before heading out for a confetti throw and the we hopped onto the red bus that drove us to The Adam and Eve pub.
London weddings are always so much fun, but being A&Rs Adam and Eve Pub Wedding Photographer, was extra special. Roschelle is one of the kindest people I have met and she has made me feel so welcome and looked after throughout the day! I even had seat at the guest table! The décor was stunning! Every single detail was perfect. Roschelle has put so much work into all the little things and it really paid off.
Once we arrived at The Adam and Eve, the party was on. The wedding had a super chilled vibe, we did some more portraits, some creative shots, Adam held a beautiful speech filled with emotions, but mainly it felt like hanging out with friends.
If you love my work and would like to have a chat about your wedding plans, please get in touch! I can’t wait to hear from you!
