how I became a wedding photographer
My story is not one for the books; it is humble, but it is the only one I have. Photography has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. When I was old enough to make my own decisions, I took off and started a degree in Fine Art all the way up in the windy Aberdeen. Probably the worst weather I’ve experienced, but the most fun I ever had for sure.
In spite of loving photography more than anything else, it wasn’t until I became a mum in 2017 that I decided that I want to pursue photography (and later wedding photography) as a career.
I wanted to document every second of life and create images that put a smile on peoples faces. Since then I experimented with different styles of photography and I’ve met people who inspired me and allowed me to express my creativity my way. To begin with, family photography came to me naturally. I bond with new mums easily and I am passionate about everything related to small humans. However. as I journeyed through the beautiful world of creativity, I quickly realised that wedding photography is where my passion lies. All those beautiful moments of excitement and joy are unbeatable.
So here we are now, between being a mother and a wife, I am also a storyteller who tells real stories about the beauty of the little things. If you are looking for a Bristol wedding photographer and you stumbled across my website, I really hope that we can become friends.
